NEW YORK, N.Y. – Dec. 12, 2019 – CBS All Access today announced that its new original true-crime series, INTERROGATION, will be available to binge beginning Thursday, Feb. 6. The streaming service also released the series’ teaser art. With all episodes dropping at once, viewers will see the day of the crime and then follow the evidence like a cold case detective, abandon the linear narrative and determine their own investigative path by watching the episodes leading up to the finale in any order.

Starring Peter Sarsgaard (“The Looming Tower”), Kyle Gallner (“Outsiders”), David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck”), and special guest star Vincent D’Onofrio (“The Godfather of Harlem”), INTERROGATION is based on a case that spans more than 20 years, in which a young man was charged and convicted of brutally murdering his mother. Sarsgaard plays David Russell, the lead detective on the case; Gallner plays the accused, Eric Fisher; Strathairn plays Eric’s father, Henry Fisher; and D’Onofrio plays Ian Lynch, an Internal Affairs officer who ends up becoming Eric Fisher’s biggest ally.

First Poster From David’s CBS All Access Series “Interrogation” Released & Character’s Name Revealed

CBS All Access has released the first poster from David’s series INTERROGATION and his character’s name is finally revealed. David will play the part of Henry Russell, the father of the lead character played by Peter Sarsgaard. Funny enough, Sarsgaard’s character’s name is, wait for it ….. David Russell. David’s full name is David Russell Strathairn, and this isn’t the first time David has played someone with Russell in their character name. There was SIMON BIRCH where David played Reverend Russell, then BEYOND THE CALL where he played the part of Russell Cates, and finally HOME FROM THE HOLIDAYS where he played Russell Terziak. There seems to be a pattern forming. I’m wondering if the irony has hit David? Likely. Here’s the information on the series and the poster. Oh premiere date is February 6, 2020.
