This is probably one of David’s most colourful portrayals. As Pierce Moorehouse Pachett, David played a pornographer who had a knack for turning women into fake bombshells to create “art”. What was excellent in this film is that it captured Los Angeles’ Hollywood hey day at it’s most glamourous. The film also starred Russell Crowe, Kim Basinger, Guy Pierce, and Kevin Spacey. All in all one of David’s best work. Though I think all of his films and television forays are usually exceptional because, well, it’s David Strathairn. Here are the screencaps and a clip with David’s parts from the film. Though not in the film a lot, he still left an indelible imprint. Enjoy.
